What it costs

Billed monthly, for the term

Every course has one monthly fee, billed for the length of the term. Each course page states that course’s fee, its term dates and the total.

No joining fee

There is no registration fee and no deposit. The monthly fee is the whole cost; books and materials are told to you before the term starts.

Charged when the term starts

Payment is set up at the end of registration, and the first payment is taken when the term starts — not when you fill in the form.

How registration works

  1. Pick a courseRegistration is per course. Every course page states its days, its monthly fee and how many places are left — the same count the form itself is checked against.
  2. Fill in the formFour short steps, or five if the student is under 16 and needs a guardian on the account: who the student is, how to reach you, the guardian's details, then a password. Starting the form does not hold a place; the place is taken when you finish it.
  3. We confirm the placeVerify your email address — you cannot sign in until you do — and we confirm the group within a few days. If the group filled first you go onto the waitlist instead, and nothing is charged while you wait.
  4. First lesson, then the first paymentPayment is set up at the end of registration, and the first monthly payment is taken when the term starts, not when you fill in the form. There is no joining fee and no deposit.

Something not answered here? Email info@ihyainstitute.co.uk.

How much does a course cost, and when am I charged?

Monthly fees currently run from £0.00 to £25.00, billed monthly for the length of the term. Each course page states that course's fee, its term dates and the total. There is no joining fee and no registration fee. Payment is set up at the end of registration and the first payment is taken when the term starts, not when you fill in the form.

How big are the classes?

Each course page publishes that group's cap and the number of places still free. When a group fills, registering adds you to the waitlist.

Are your teachers DBS checked?

Yes. Every member of staff who teaches or supervises children at Ihya Institute holds a current enhanced DBS check, and our safeguarding policy — including how to raise a concern and who the designated safeguarding lead is — is published on this site.

Where are classes held, and can I visit first?

Classes are held at Clemency House, Nugget St, Oldham OL4 1BN, United Kingdom. Some courses also run online; each course page says which, and names the campus and room for the in-person sessions. You are welcome to visit before registering — contact us on info@ihyainstitute.co.uk to arrange a time.
